Accountant

Description

• Support the month-end close process under U.S. GAAP, including preparing and reviewing relevant journal entries, performing balance sheet account reconciliations 
• Support interim and year-end audits 
• Record accruals, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses
• Reconcile all intercompany transactions
• Manage accounts payable, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices globally
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the filing of BIR returns
• Participate in various accounting systems automation and enhancement projects to promote more timely and accurate financial reporting.

• 3+ years of relevant accounting operations and general ledger accounting
• CPA or equivalent preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Strong experience with various accounting systems, Tipalti, NetSuite and other accounting-related systems
• Experience working in a SaaS/Software business is strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of ASC 606
• Experience working with US and international entities
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
• Honesty, strong ethical standards and integrity are a must
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, documentation skills, and research & resolution skills
