Duties and Responsibilities:
Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of bookkeeping & VAT jobs and be able to prepare work to a good standard
Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of client accounting software (Xero & QuickBooks) and key features such as bank rules and cash coding
Be able to prepare a set of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns from records stage and prepare the working papers to a good standard and complete the necessary reconciliations
Be able to demonstrate a good level of communication skills with both account managers and colleagues
Demonstrate a good attitude in line with the firm’s core values and culture
Be able to achieve targets in respect of number of jobs and budgets.
Perform bookkeeping task on a weekly basis using Xero and QuickBooks
Prepare daily financial statements
Prepare and maintain detailed working papers to support financial reports.
Manage and maintain client accounts through the digital accounting system.
This role will provide accounting support to around 5-10 different clients in the UK per month.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be a graduate of Accountancy or related programs (Management Accounting, Finance, or Accounting Technology)
3 to 4 years of experience in accounting.
CPA is advantageous
High attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Strong MS excel skills
Must be amenable to work on-site in Eastwood
Advantageous Skills:
Experience working with an accounting firm.
Proven experience in using Xero and QuickBooks (Client can provide training to candidates without experience)
International accounting experience is also nice-to-have.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM Philippine Time (Hybrid set-up) (Monday and Friday on-site)
