As the Accountant in the healthcare industry, you will lead our financial department, ensuring that all financial activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory standards. Your role is instrumental in safeguarding our financial health and supporting our mission to provide high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership to the organization, guiding financial decision-making in alignment with our goals and objectives.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws. Oversee the preparation of tax returns.
- Audit Coordination: Manage external audits, liaise with auditors, and address audit findings promptly.
- Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies to optimize financial performance while maintaining high-quality healthcare services.
- Treasury and Cash Management: Supervise treasury functions, cash flow management, and banking relationships.
- Financial Systems: Oversee financial systems, software, and tools to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team. Set performance expectations and promote a culture of excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's strategic plan by providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Stakeholder Relations: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including department heads, executives, banks, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify cost drivers, trends, and opportunities for cost containment.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the organization's financial stability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA required.
- Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or similar role in the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
