Accountant (Senior Analyst)

Job Summary:

Performs financial management, budgeting, taxation, and other accounting functions (e.g., detailed analysis, validation and recording of all financial transactions of PEMC) and maintains a system of internal control to adhere with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Tax Laws, and Company Policies.

Responsible and accountable for the following:

1. Preparation, filing and/or submission of tax returns and all required attachments/schedules
2. Performance of other tax compliance related activities
3. Preparation of bank reconciliation statements for all cash in bank accounts
4. Processing capital asset transaction documents
5. Updating, analyzing, and maintaining all/assigned schedules for general and subsidiary ledger accounts
6. Preparation of necessary adjustments and/or corrections and, ensure that all financial transactions are recorded
7. Provide assistance in the preparation of various Financial Reports (e.g. Financial Statements, Budgets and Budget Utilization, etc.) as the need arises
8. Provide assistance in other finance related activities (e.g. Financial Statements Audits, Tax Audits, etc.) as the need arises
9. Perform other finance related tasks that may be assigned
10. Participate in other ad-hoc tasks

Skills and Competencies

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Applications
• Advanced knowledge in using ERP systems
• Advanced knowledge in Philippine tax laws and regulations
• High attention to detail
• Deadline Oriented

Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
