Accountant (Shared Services)

Job Description:

General Accountant - We are looking for an experienced and reliable accountant to join our team. As an accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining a full set of accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, and reporting financial performance and position to management and stakeholders. You will also collaborate with other accountants, auditors, lawyers, and financial professionals to provide accurate and timely financial information and advice. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks. You should also have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also have experience with general accounting, billing, account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, budgeting and forecasting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of AR invoices
• Bookkeeping Accounts Reconciliation
• Performs Bank Reconciliation
• Preparation of Financial and Management Reports
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance and cost analysis.
• Stay updated on current accounting standards, Philippine tax laws, and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or equivalent is preferred, but not required
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or related field Experience with general accounting, accounts receivable, billing, accounts payable, account reconciliation, financial statement preparation
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
