Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of accounting and bookkeeping staff.
Oversee daily financial transactions including invoicing, payments, receipts, and payroll processing.
Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions to the general ledger.
Review and reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation and records.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Preparation of documents for tax filing and government compliance.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Monitor and ensure the completeness and accuracy of inventory records.
Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to verify physical inventory against accounting records.
Implement and oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counts, stock adjustments, and inventory valuation.
Train and mentor staff on accounting procedures and software systems.
Must-have Skills / Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA is required.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience in journal entries, ability to prepare and create reports such as financial reports, balance sheet, income statements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (intermediate).
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Advantageous but not required:
Payroll experience
Proficiency in Xero

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Manila Time, including 1 hour break. (May require extended hours during financial reporting periods or audits.)
