ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE HEAD

• Typical duties include reviewing financial reports, monitoring accounts, and preparing activity reports and financial forecasts. It also investigate ways to improve profitability, and analyze markets for business opportunities, such as expansion, mergers or acquisitions
• Responsible for the financial health of a company or organization. Producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research
• Establishes financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information; managing staff.

Key Areas and Responsibilities:

LEADERSHIP & ADMINISTRATION

• Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
• Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Makes and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable
• Find ways to reduce or maintain costs by studying financial reports and business process.
