Your Role as Accounting Assistant

As an Accounting Assistant, you'll work closely with Accountants and Auditors to support day-to-day finance operations. Expect to get hands-on with everything from invoice processing to reconciliations and financial reports.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable invoices
• Assist with transaction reconciliation and tax return preparation
• Track income and expenses, ensuring all data is accurate
• Validate bank accounts and perform regular report reconciliations
• Collaborate with team members on audits and financial reviews
• Maintain and update financial records with confidentiality
• Perform data entry, word processing, and document tracking
• Ensure compliance with accounting rules, policies, and standards

What You’ll Need

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field
• Experience as an Accounting Associate or in a similar role
• Familiarity with tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office, and HubDoc
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Trustworthy when handling confidential information
