Accounting Head

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Head to lead and manage the full spectrum of accounting operations for a fast-paced company in the FMCG or non-food industry, based in Manila. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and internal controls. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and cost analysis in a distribution or manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, AP/AR, inventory, and payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process.
• Maintain compliance with local tax regulations, BIR requirements, and external audit standards.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance to the accounting team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the FMCG or non-food sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
