The incumbent is expected to do the following:

• Leads VAT team in relation to VAT documentation activities.
• Coordinates with Tax Officer for proper documentation schedules necessary for VAT Claims.
• Prepares monthly VAT declaration and quarterly VAT return.
• Consolidates and maintains documentations needed for VAT Claims which primarily focuses on Sales (Local & Export) and Importation.
• Assists in preparation of Local Purchases schedule for VAT Claims
• Communicates to concern employees/suppliers any issues noted to improve documentation processes.
• Prepares reports for submission to Philippine Statistics Authority
• Prepares required reports and documents as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• With a degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Experience in VAT refund claims is an advantage.
• With at least 2 years' experience in Philippine taxation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and commonly used accounting software
• Good level or oral and written communication skills
• Good quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to lead and prioritize projects.
• Ability to work efficiently with time constraints.
