A minimum of 3 years experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role
Certificate IV in Book Keeping and a Diploma in Accounting
Hands on experience with Xero accounting software
Intermediate computer software skills, including excel (vlook ups and tables)
Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
Aged care and NDIS experience preferred
Experience construction and maintenance sector industry
What will you do?
Provide support to the Accounts Department
Manage obligations to suppliers, clients and third party vendors
Reconcile financial statements from suppliers
Prepare, send and store invoices
Managing inter-company transactions
Assisting with Payroll
Ensuring Consumer statements are sent out in an accurate, timely and complete manner
Handling communications with clients, suppliers and employees via phone, email and in-person
Assisting with audits, reviews and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
Other ad hoc accounting duties to support the broader team
Undertake additional financial tasks or projects as assigned by the senior management team
Collaborate with the Finance Manager to implement more efficient and effective procedures
Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations
