Job Description - Accounts Executive


Job Summary

 


To profitably grow the business by exceeding sales & profit objectives and managing to be a strategic partner with customers and suppliers thus enabling DKSH to become the leader in market expansion services.


 

General Responsibilities

 









Sales and Profitability 



  1. Manages assigned accounts by identifying and executing short to medium-term sales strategies in alignment with business goals.

  2. Negotiates most favorable contract prices and terms to maximize targeted revenues and GM* of each SKU*, as well as minimize related expenses.

  3. Prepares all sales-related materials such as, but not limited to quotations, proposals.

  4. Ensures full customer satisfaction by providing on-time delivery, after-sales service and bridging of customer requirements with DKSH PH internal processes and services.

  5. Coordinates with support groups within DKSH PH* (R&D, QA, Finance, SCM, and CSS)* to ensure total customer astonishment, loyalty, and achievement of profitable growth objectives.


SWC Management



  1. Gathers sufficient data to accurately derive sales forecasts for better MRP* and inventory management.

  2. Monitors well-managed CRC* and settlement of AR’s and SAR’s within prescribed credit terms.

  3. Monitors inventory turnover of each SKU* to eliminate ageing items.


New Business Development



  1. Develops new projects, acquires new accounts, increases account share to profitably grow business.

  2. Generates market insight by gathering information (competitive rates, activities, market trends, organizational changes, network of toll manufacturers, third-party providers/contractors) to more effectively determine appropriate product solutions and packages.

  3. Prepares and conducts presentations to customers and suppliers.


 


 


Administrative Functions


 



  1. Requests price upload and changes as necessary thru List Price Condition e-form.


 



  1. Disseminates SO* and copy of customers’ PO* and approved quotation to CSS* and ensures proper filing of the same.


 



  1. Fills-up Material Maintenance form for new materials.


 



  1. Prepares Requests for Credit Note and/or Debit Note for customers.


 



  1. Provides information to CSS* for preparation of request for Credit Note and/or Debit Note to suppliers.


 










 



 

Functional Skills and Knowledge

Internal



  1. New Product Development Tracking Report

  2. Six Months Rolling Forecast

  3. Monthly Sales Forecast


 


External



  1. Monthly Reports to Customers and Suppliers


 


Internal and External



  1. Sales call plan (itinerary) with Salesforce.com compliance

  2. Sales call reports (sales call activities of the past week)

  3. Sales reports to suppliers and other important salesforce communications.

Education


  1. Graduate of Chemical Engineering, or other related courses.


 



  1. Minimum 2 years experience in sales of chemicals and other inputs for the Chemical Process Industries;


 


Broad network in CPIs and other related Industries.
