Job Description - Accounts Payable Assistant | Hybrid

Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant 
Location: BGC, Taguig City 
Schedule: Night Shift (12:00am to 9:00am)


Work Arrangement: Hybrid



This role will begin with full onsite work during onboarding and training to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Once you’re fully ramped, the position will move to a hybrid setup with (3) three days onsite per week.

Role Overview



The Accounts Payable Assistant / Specialist supports the day-to-day accounts payable operations and assists the accounting team with accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, patient, and eager to learn.



Key Responsibilities




  • Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding and documentation

  • Assist with invoice matching, payment preparation, and reconciliations

  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records

  • Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable

  • Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies

  • Assist with basic accounting and financial analysis tasks as needed


Candidate Profile & Skills




  • Basic understanding of accounting principles

  • Exposure to U.S. accounting practices is a plus but not required; training will be provided

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Patient, resourceful, and detail-oriented working style

  • Ability to support accounting and financial analysis tasks

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a structured accounting environment
