As Accounts Payable Associate, you will be responsible for timely and proper recording of financial transactions in conformity with accounting standards, statutory and regulatory requirements. Responsible for ascertaining payments to vendors are legitimate company liabilities; that are properly authorized, approved and adequately supported by proper documents and compliant with tax regulations. This position is responsible for providing assistance in the preparation of Financial Statements for statutory reporting; and internal reporting within the Company and Aboitiz group to contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with 1AP Accounts Payables to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  Review and validate payable transactions by  performing 2 way matching  for Non- PO and 3 way for PO Transactions.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure that they are in conformity with Company policies and procedures, accounting standards and prevailing government regulations

  
  


• 
  

  Record the transactions in conformity with accounting standards, following established business rules in the financial system.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare and process payments on time in required payment modes and currencies, to employees, local and foreign vendors, third parties, government agencies; based on complete and correct set of Accounts Payable (APV) package.

  
  

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

  Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (Preferred)

  Professional: At least 2 years work experience
