Your Role as an Accounts Receivable Officer

As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you’ll be supporting one of our awesome clients by making sure their billing and collections process runs like clockwork. From reconciling payments to coordinating with stakeholders, your role will help ensure accuracy, timeliness, and top-notch financial support every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconciling bank transactions daily to make sure all received payments are recorded accurately.
• Billing agents on a fortnightly or monthly basis, handling any disputes, and keeping communication clear and professional.
• Sending out monthly invoices to our accounts, schools, and commercial clients based on specific billing agreements.
• Regularly reviewing balance due reports to keep collections in check and support financial clarity.
• Performing digital credit card reconciliations.
• Coordinating with third-party debt collectors for overdue balances.
• Reconciliating vehicle sales across platforms like Xero and Eclipse.
• Working with internal teams to process refunds and track received payments in Stripe.
• Following up on unpaid invoices generated from Xero and keeping things moving forward.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Solid experience in Accounts Receivable
• Proficiency in accounting software like Xero and reconciliation tools
• Solid understanding of billing cycles and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication skills—you’re confident with follow-ups and clarifications
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Experience with tools like Stripe, Eclipse, and cloud-based systems is a plus!
