About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with a strong focus on handling insurance premium payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely collections to join our dynamic team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist you will be working with the Head of Finance and play a crucial role in ensuring a healthy cash flow and financial performance through efficient receivables management, reinforcing Igloo's position as a leader in the insurtech industry and enhancing client experience, fostering loyalty and promoting business growth.
Job Responsibilities
Process and reconcile insurance premium payments from clients.
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
Generate monthly statements and reports to track receivables status.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the insurance broker industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience working in a high-growth environment, ideally with a mix of experience in MNCs and start ups
