Job Description - Administrative Assistant - Permits and Licenses

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS

  1. To assist DPI Admin Department/Operations Group in securing various permits and licenses including but not limited to Building Permit and ancillaries, Business Permits, Barangay Clearance, Permit to Install and Permit to Operate of temporary mechanical equipment, CAAP height clearance if necessary, Locational Clearance, Fire Clearance, Certificate of Electrical Inspection, apply electrical and water service connections and its refund for bill deposits, Occupancy Permits, scouting vacant lots for lay-down area and renewal of temporary mechanical equipment;
  2. To assist DPI Admin Team with the necessary preparation of various permit submittal packages;
  3. To submit and monitor progress of applications through the various stages of the approval process;
  4. To communicate immediately, the plan examiners comments on a timely manner to DPI Admin Head;
  5. To monitor all the required permits for all projects;
  6. To prepare, provide and update list of submittals and requirements for each trade of permits and licenses application;
  7. To assist in meeting with Barangay/Town/Village/City/LGUs/LGAs staff/officer as required;
  8. To attend field meetings as necessary;
  9. To coordinate delivery/pickup of time sensitive documentation;
  10. To undertake other permits and licenses related tasks, as requested by the DPI Admin Department and DPI Management.
  11. Permits & Licenses meetings, project meetings and other related activities that may be held on weekends or holidays as needed;
  12. Submit a bi-monthly report of accomplishment to the DPI Admin Head;
  13. Submit periodic reports covering specific areas like updates on new rulings LGU, LGA permit requirements;
