The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) is the primary agency in the Philippines responsible for the collection of internal revenue taxes, enforcing tax laws, and ensuring that taxpayers comply with their tax obligations. It is a vital agency critical to the country’s economic growth and development.

Your responsibilities

A successful Administrative Officer will act as the point of contact for all employees, providing administrative support and managing their queries. Main duties include managing office stock, preparing regular reports (e.g. expenses and office budgets), and organizing company records. Some of the responsibilities may include: 

  • Manage office supplies stock and place orders
  • Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets
  • Maintain and update company databases
  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents
  • Answer queries by employees and clients
  • Update office policies as needed
  • Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments
  • Book meeting rooms as required
  • Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails, and packages)
  • Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned
  • Arrange travel and accommodations
  • Schedule in-house and external events

The total monthly pay for an Administrative Officer is Php 20,858. Qualified employees will receive government benefits which include:

Every department, office, and agency shall, as soon as practicable and in no case later than ninety (90) days of the effectivity of the rules start conducting value development programs for its officials and employees to strengthen their commitment to public service and help promote the importance of public interest over personal interest in the performance of their duties.

Continuing refresher courses seminars and workshops to promote a high standard of ethics in public service shall be conducted.
