Job Description - Admin/Property Accountant

Savills Philippines is the leading full-service real estate solutions provider for local and multinational business locators.

LOCATION: SILANG, CAVITE
WORK SET UP:
On-site - 6 days a week
POSITION:


JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Ensure accurate and timely closing of books of accounts
  • Handle tax filings, statutory reports, and regulatory compliance (BIR, renewals, registrations, insurance)
  • Address audit queries and ensure completion within deadlines
  • Validate billings, receipts, payables, and related accounting entries
  • Ensure accuracy of invoices and support collection efficiency
  • Assist in preparing operational budgets
  • Monitor billing issuance for accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure strong collection performance and proper fund disbursement
  • Track revenues and expenses vs. budget through monthly reports
  • Develop annual operating and capital expenditure budgets
  • Prepare long-term (5-year) property enhancement plans
  • Monitor bank balances and ensure timely deposit of collections
  • Prepare cash position reports prior to check issuance
  • Support financial aspects of property transitions and prepare reports
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching for efficiency
  • Ensure smooth financial and accounting operations across properties
  • Maintain ISO-compliant accounting records and documentation
  • Participate in business reviews and client/landlord financial discussions
  • Recommend improvements in billing, collections, and financial processes
  • Participate in trainings, seminars, and company activities

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the property management industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accountancy, CPA certification is preferred but not always required.
  • Willing to work on-site.
  • Amenable to work six (6) days a week.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle
  • Ability to prepare financial reports and perform financial analysis
  • Knowledge of audit processes and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate financial computations
  • Accurate and efficient data entry for reliable financial records
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical reasoning to identify trends and financial issues
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and data integrity
  • Effective time management to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills in addressing accounting issues
  • Leadership and teamwork skills for guiding and collaborating with others
  • Adaptability to evolving accounting standards, regulations, and systems
