Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology

  • Must be a Registered Psychometrician (RPM)

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in psychological assessment, student counseling, admissions screening, or related psychological services

  • Experience in psychological assessment, student counseling, or admissions screening preferred

  • Familiarity with mental health assessment and referral systems

  • Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills

  • Knowledge of ethical standards and the Data Privacy Act in handling psychological information




Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate with Admissions (BDD) and Process and Systems Integration (PSI) regarding COAST system access and functionality.

  • Coordinate with the Academics Department to schedule onsite admission interviews for applicants with declared neurodevelopment or learning conditions.

  • Plot and manage available online and onsite admission interview schedules through the COAST Scheduler.

  • Prepare referral forms and GCC admission requirements for applicants.

  • Coordinate with the Security Department by providing applicant names and interview schedules prior to onsite interviews.

  • Facilitate onsite interview logistics including room assignments and interview preparation.

  • Conduct online or onsite admission interviews for applicants with declared mental health conditions or concerns.

  • Conduct intake interviews and communicate GCC admission requirements such as:

    • Referral Form

    • Consent for Disclosure and Collaboration Form

    • Probationary Status Agreement Form



  • Send GCC admission requirements to applicants who passed the interview process.

  • Ensure data privacy and secure documentation of applicant interview notes and submitted requirements.

  • Update applicants’ interview and clearance status within the COAST system.

  • Coordinate with parents/guardians, consulting mental health professionals, and guidance counselors when referrals are required.

  • Review psychological assessment reports and medical clearances to support admission recommendations.

  • Promote fairness and bias reduction in admissions interview processes.

  • Recommend improvements to admissions policies and procedures related to applicant assessment and screening.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time in support of admissions andstudent support operations.
