Our Business Intelligence Team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in our BGC, Taguig site in the role of Analytics Officer.

This role is critical in driving the banks risk management strategy through comprehensive analysis, collaboration, and the development of automated reporting solutions. You will leverage your expertise in consumer and corporate loan products, risk management, and advanced analytics to support key business decisions and ensure the bank's financial stability.

What the role will entail

• Performing in-depth analyses of consumer and corporate loan products, utilizing insights to guide risk mitigation decisions and optimize portfolio performance.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Credit Risk Management, Finance, Corporate Planning, Consumer and Corporate Loans Units, and Collections, playing a pivotal role in the development and execution of effective risk management strategies.
• Performing Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculations and comprehensive analyses to assess potential credit risks, contributing to the formulation of risk mitigation strategies. 
• Designing, automating, and delivering management reports using Python within Databricks, ensuring timely and accurate data-driven insights for senior leadership
• Testing of scorecard models to ensure their accuracy and predictive effectiveness, identifying and implementing improvements where necessary to strengthen credit risk assessments.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Finance or Business Economics
• Masters degree is an advantage
• 5 years relevant work experience in analytics
• Proficient with data management, PowerBI, Sharepoint, SAS, SQL, etc.
