Job Description - APAC Technical Services Lead | Taguig

Management (Information & Communication Technology)

The Technical Services Lead will provide strategic and operational technical and energy management leadership to the account or site in APAC region to deliver significant business growth and profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership – providing confident, visible leadership, ensuring standards are set and delivered, talent and resources are utilised optimally, client relationships are nurtured and developed and all opportunities for best practice and capability growth are leveraged.
  • Delivering Technical Standards – Ensuring that committed/contractual targets are met. Measures to include that a comprehensive asset management strategy is in place and the framework implemented to ensure that all assets under managed are effectively managed to include, but not limited to.
    • Asset criticality replacement program that includes a forward-looking asset replacement program based on asset condition and criticality to the services that are being supported by the asset.
    • Analysis and use of all WO data from the Maximo CMMS system to drive better use of assets, usage and enabling comparisons of assets across buildings, countries.
    • Recommendations on asset management programs that may differ from OEM – again based on actual usage and criticality of assets.
    • Developing a preventative maintenance strategy suitable for the (mainly) office environment that fully uses usage data from the CMMS system and where appropriate introduces measures and sensors such as thermal imaging, vibration analysis and IOT sensors in a cost-effective way.
  • Energy Management – a full energy management program is in place that clearly demonstrates energy reduction targets that are aligned with the energy reduction goals towards a carbon net zero outcome.
    • Clear energy reduction practices are in place within the top 10 buildings within the APAC portfolio. These practices being able to be shared and copied across the overall portfolio where appropriate.
  • Team Management - Selecting, managing, engaging and developing highly performing and diverse account team, with the appropriate skills and capabilities to manage the asset management strategy across the portfolio.
  • Client Relationship Management – Engaging with the operational senior key clients on a routine basis and lead by example in providing excellence in contract/relationship management.
  • Delivery of Excellence in Risk, Compliance and Quality Management – Ensuring the protocols, processes and capabilities are in place to deliver all technical/regulatory requirements for the safe and commercial ongoing management of these specialist contracts
  • Effective Management of Internal Resources – Engaging effectively with support functions/service operations and providing clear business briefs on services required. 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineer, licensed
  • Knowledgeable in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Has a background in Asset Management and Operations & Maintenance Management of facilities
  • Experience of having operated successfully at a senior technical level within an outsourced B2B environment would be preferred.
  • Experience of working in critical environments
  • Energy Management Qualification would be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior technical and energy manager role 
  • Demonstrable track record of developing successful operational strategies across a broad portfolio.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills 
  • Development of commercially viable solutions based on rigorous techniques to understand client needs and price products/services accordingly
  • Considerable experience in private sector technical service delivery 
  • Proven financial acumen essential with commercial experience and business acumen
  • Proven track record of initiating and leading demanding business change programmes 
  • Proven track record of leading and managing experienced operators and large numbers of employees
  • Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills.
  • High standards of numeracy and written communication
  • Representative and active involvement on Industry bodies
