APPLICATION PERFORMANCE TESTER

JOB BRIEF
We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to join our QA team in Manila. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing software applications for performance, reliability, and scalability. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our applications meet and exceed user expectations.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios
• Conduct load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing to evaluate application responsiveness and performance
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues using root cause analysis
• Analyze and report performance metrics
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve performance

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

• Perform manual functional testing

• Manage functional test cases

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in performance testing of mobile and web applications
• Strong knowledge of performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, Neoload, or Blazemeter
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, SoapUI, or API platform-specific SDKs is vital for interacting with APIs and automating tests.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
