Application QA Engineer

JOB BRIEF

As a QA Engineer with our Manila team, you will play a pivotal role in verifying and validating our workplace application and data-driven solutions. You will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, managing test data, and utilizing testing methodologies to ensure the quality and performance of our application.

Responsibilities:
1. Test planning: Develop test plans and test cases specifically designed for workplace applications, including machine learning models and data driven processes.
2. Data Management: Manage test data, including data collection, preparation, and validation, to ensure data quality and relevance for testing.
3. Testing Methodologies: Apply a variety of testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing, to validate AI components and systems.
4. Test Automation: Create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for AI and data-driven solutions, enabling continuous testing and integration.
5. Data Privacy and Security Testing: Ensure data privacy and security measures are tested and validated in AI applications.
6. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test plans, and test reports.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on testing of mobile and web apps. 
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, SoapUI, or API platform-specific SDKs is vital for interacting with APIs and automating tests.
• Prior experience with test automation tools will be preferred. 
• Understanding database systems and querying languages (e.g., SQL) allows validation routines to access and compare data against defined rules.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies and test automation tools.
• Knowledge of data management, data validation, and data privacy.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
