Application Support Specialist

The Application Support Specialist is expected to provide IT enabled customized solutions to address business pain points. He/she is responsible for understanding a client's needs and recommending products and services to meet those needs. This may involve analyzing data, conducting research, and collaborating with other professionals to develop effective solutions.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Effectively communicate with business users to gather requirements.
• Analyzing business processes to improve efficiency and decrease costs.
• Consulting with business users about potential solutions, recommending appropriate technology applications.
• Liaising with business users to ensure that they are satisfied with the solution, providing them with regular updates on progress, and answering their questions.
• Drafting project plans that outline the scope of work, needed resources, and time frame for completion.
• Managing projects from start to finish.
• Design and implement business analysis and data recording systems.
• Maintain databases & systems and perform updates as necessary.
• Develop, document, and adhere to development and process standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering related courses.
• Knowledgeable in any SQL database
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Time management skills
• Strong organizational skills required with keen attention to details
