AR Credit Specialist | Onsite

• Include billing and payment enquiries, inbox management, customer account support, reporting, and managing unstructured accounts
• Act as the primary point for inbound contact (verbal and written) for unstructured customers, including but not limited to; invoice and statement enquiries, billing/payment enquiries, establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships to drive on -time payments and efficient issue resolution
  
• Escalate complex billing queries to the Onshore Billing Specialist as required (including account holds, payment disputes, account reconciliations, past due balances, credit requests and customer master data changes), and work closely with the specialist to build capability and confidence in handling these queries independently over time.
  
• Timely Accounts Receivable Inbox management
  
• Maintain rules for automatically responding to email, tagging, moving or assigning emails based on sender, subject or content
  
• Review and manually tag, move or assign emails based on AR policies and procedures
  
• Prepare and communicate inbox reporting (particularly identifying volume of complex queries awaiting response)
  
• Respond to basic customer account enquiries based on set procedures/templates (e.g. requests that don’t require non -template responses) and log actions taken
  
• Update and develop email templates
  
• Act as back -up for Transaction Processing Officer
  
• Assist with the preparation of Weekly AR reporting
  
• Assist the Onshore Billing Specialist with other tasks they need assistance with
  

Requirements

• Bookkeeping or business qualifications an advantage.
  
• At least 2 years of experience in credit and collections including calls with Wholesale and Retail Customers
  
• Minimum 12 months experience working for Australian, New Zealand, US or UK Companies
  
• Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including usage of SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, pivot, and Excel table functions.
  
• Prior ERP systems experience (preferably MS Business Central; similar such as Netsuite, Dynamics F&O also helpful)
