AR Specialist

Location: This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work once a week in the office. Our office location is at 10th and 11th Floor Robinsons Cyber Omega, Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1605

As AR Specialist with Insight, you will hold a position that is responsible for a high volume of cash application, analytical and reconciliation detailed work.  It includes payment research and follow-up.  Ten key by touch skill and automated payment knowledge is essential. The position interfaces with internal and external clients in resolving unidentified payments on account and payment discrepancies.

As a AR Specialist, you will get to:

• Resolve payment discrepancies, unidentified payments, and cash balancing through research, problem-solving, and follow-up.

• Process high-volume payments via lockbox procedures, wire transfers, ACH retrieval, and credit card transactions (manual payments, refunds, charge-backs).

• Handle adjustments from SR, Tax, Client Services, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, and Collections (bad debt, recoveries, offsets).

• Support daily cash balancing and bank reconciliations.

We are looking for AR Specialist with:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business is preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Office

• Minimum 1- 2 years’ experience within accounting/finance role

• Experience with SAP is a plus
