Assembly Technician

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performs Inspection, troubleshooting, dis-assembly/assembly, repair and bench test of Cohu SEG RMA product and its modules.

2. Operate multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, current probes, thermometers, and special test equipment.

3. Ensure on-time delivery of job assignments as directed by his superiors.

4. Provide real time escalation of test issues that may impact completion of task.

5. Supports Test Engineering initiatives on Lean and other continuous improvement activities.

6. Maintains the safekeeping of all test tools and equipment in Test area.

7. Responsible for maintaining daily status logs and reports.

8. Perform tasks in accordance with established quality and safety standards.

9. Perform other duties as required.       

QUALIFICATIONS

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 2 years vocational/technology course in Electronics, Electrical, Electro-mechanics, Mechanical, or equivalent.

Experience :

Minimum of 1-year relevant experience preferably in a Semiconductor/ Electronics company or equivalent.
