ASSISTANT CATEGORY MANAGER (Food)

• Assist the Category Manager in developing and executing strategic plans for the food category, including product assortment, pricing, and promotions.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging food trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and conditions, ensuring a reliable and high-quality food supply chain.
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Support the Category Manager in developing and implementing marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive customer engagement and increase sales.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as purchasing, sales, and operations to ensure efficient product procurement, distribution, and availability.
• Analyze customer feedback and market data to make informed decisions on product assortment and new product introductions.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and food safety standards to ensure compliance and maintain a safe and healthy food offering.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting for the food category, ensuring optimal inventory levels and profitability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry, preferably in a retail or grocery setting.
• Strong knowledge of food trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics in the food industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
