Assistant Chief Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage the Department's daily operation.
• Oversees the engineering personnel in the Installation, repairs and operation of machinery, equipment and related system.
• Oversees fabricating, maintaining, installing and repairing plumbing and sanitary facilities; hotel locks and keys; carpentry works; masonry works; etc.
• Develops and implement preventive maintenance and repair schedules of the hotel machinery, equipment and other facilities.
• Develops work simplification methods and techniques and improve programs.
• Prepares and/or evaluates designs and specifications for all engineering projects; supervises installations and constructions of all engineering works; submit periodic reports on project status and operating performance to superior.
• Controls and sees to adequacy of inventory of all engineering supplies.
• Develops and implements cost reduction program.
• Evaluates performance of engineering personnel.
• Implement Company rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical or its equivalent
• Preferably with license but not required
• With at least 5 years work experience in the Hospitality Industry
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Keen into details and cost control capabilities
• Committed to deliver exceptional levels of guest service
• Can start immediately
