Job Description - Assistant Finance Manager/Senior Bookkeeper

I. JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Financial Controller of ADEC Innovations UK Limited, this key position is responsible for finance and accounting-related functions of ADEC Innovations UK Limited, A.R.I.Services, Europe Ltd. and Adec Innovations B.V.

II. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Reviews all received source documents to ensure that data is complete and appropriate for recording, and sends queries and clarifications, if necessary.
  2. Reviews recorded invoices, bills, payroll reports and journal entries to the automated system (Xero, Sage 200)
  3. Reviews the monthly aging report of receivables
  4. Monitors, records, and processes allocations for company credit cards and expense cards, ensuring all corresponding receipts are collected, reviewed, and properly filed.
  5. Reviews daily cash reports and monthly bank reconciliation statements to account for cash related records.
  6. Collects, reviews, and prepares monthly payroll information for submission to external payroll providers, ensuring accuracy and timelines
  7. Prepares/reviews month-end schedules to ensure that all month-end entries are posted.
  8. Reviews, analyses, and reconciles GL accounts to ensure that all accounts are recorded properly.
  9. Reconciles intercompany receivables and payables to reflect updated balances in all intercompany accounts.
  10. Prepares monthly financial reports and analysis to be sent to management.
  11. Maintain open communication lines with other counterparts and support groups for queries and other issues.
  12. Prepares schedules, reports and other requirements for external audit and other compliance requirements.
  13. Assists the Financial Controller (UK) in any other related duties as deemed necessary.
  • Graduate of BS in Accountancy
    • At least (5-7) of work experience &/or years of experience in relevant or related role/capacity
    • At least (2-4) years of supervisory or management experience
    • 1 year or more of relevant and related experience in BPO industry is an advantage
    • Desirable working within a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
