Job Description - Assistant Vice President

Our Human Resources team helps Citi to attract, retain and develop our employees across the globe. The team does this through supporting key areas including recruiting, diversity, global learning and talent development, benefits, compensation, and employee relations.

We’re currently looking for a high-caliber professional to join our Regional Talent Acquisition team as  AssistantVice President, Talent AcquisitionProject Manager (Asia Pacific)  based in the Philippines. The role holder will drive continuous improvement initiatives and add value to the overall recruiting effectiveness in line with the global and regional aspirations.

In this role, you’re expected to:

Lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and partner closely with the wider HR community at global, regional, and country levels to ensure talent acquisition is managing the change agenda effectively in line with a defined approach to maximize recruitment efficiency and returns on investment.

Set training agenda and conduct educational series to properly embed the change before, during, and after an initiative is brought into life.

Be part of the monthly APAC TA Process Forum to share updates and continue to influence and develop members of this community.

Understand the business requirements and technical specifications, provide regular progress updates to the regional and global management teams, and raise any risk concerns where appropriate.

Participate in available forums with the regional and global talent acquisition team members to enable operational excellence and effective change management.

Own and monitor the assigned initiative progress and outcome, flag emerging issues to the regional management team where appropriate.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and experiences:

Degree holder with solid business analyst or project management experience gained from any sizable human resources organization.

Experienced in large-scale project implementation across multiple regional or global locations, with good understanding of the technical implications and process designs.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to understand and articulate the change aspirations to different stakeholders and enable progress.

Effective navigation in the highly matrixed environment, to resolve conflicting priorities which may be complex or ambiguous at times.

Knowledge of talent acquisition technology preferably Workday, Avature, and digital assessment tools such as Plum.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
