Associate, AML Compliance (Know Your Customer), Spanish Speaker - Quezon City, Philippines

Key Responsibilities

• Approximately 90% of this role involves making and receiving customer calls to conduct interviews regarding their use of Western Union services.
• Assess customers' Anti-Money Laundering (AML) knowledge and compliance requirements when handling transaction refund requests and customer calls.
• Conduct thorough reviews via phone and/or email and make informed decisions, communicating outcomes to customers, Agents, and Service Associates.
• Follow up on customer cases that have been previously reviewed by Senior Specialists by contacting customers via phone and (or) email to obtain required information and supporting documentation.
• During periods when no calls are being received, associates are expected to maintain productivity by reviewing customer information, validating documentation, and completing other relevant case-related activities.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service throughout all interactions.
• Be available to work night shifts and weekends as required.

Requirements

• Anti-Money Laundering compliance background or customer service experience in a related banking field is preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish language.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience in the financial services industry is preferred. 
• Analytical and research and attention to detail skills are required.
