this role is open only to Locals/PR in the PHP

Role Overview:

Join foodpanda Shops and play a key role in driving our platform’s growth by acquiring new grocery and retail vendors to partner with us. As a vital part of the Shops core team, you will identify potential partners, pitch the value of joining foodpanda Shops, and help bring them onboard successfully.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify and acquire new grocery and retail vendors to join the foodpanda Shops platform.

  • Maximize lead lists and close deals through cold calling, field visits, virtual presentations, and other direct acquisition methods.

  • Effectively and creatively present the value proposition and commission packages of foodpanda Shops to potential partners.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., onboarding, catalog, operations) to ensure seamless vendor incubation and activation.

  • Act as the local expert in your area—monitor competitor activities, gather vendor feedback, and share insights and recommendations to maintain and grow market share.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, or any related field preferred.

  • Open to fresh graduates with relevant sales experience (e.g., internships), though candidates with 2–3 years of Sales or Business Development experience—especially with retail, FMCG, or grocery accounts—will be prioritized.

  • Strong communication skills; must be comfortable conversing in English, Filipino, and the local dialect in the assigned area.

  • Willing and able to do extensive fieldwork to meet vendors in person.

  • Goal-oriented and highly motivated to hit individual and team acquisition targets.

  • A self-starter and team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
