The Associate Director of Operations - Recruitment is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for overseeing the recruitment operations to ensure efficient, effective, and compliant hiring processes. This role involves managing a team of recruitment professionals, developing and implementing recruitment strategies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall recruitment experience. Key Responsibilities:

 

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing recruitment operations team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that promotes professional growth.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.

     

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to forecast staffing needs and develop proactive recruitment plans.
  • Plan and implement creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies across all channels.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative sourcing techniques to be competitive.

     

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously assess and refine recruitment processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and a positive candidate experience.
  • Implement technology solutions to streamline recruitment workflows and enhance data management.
  • Drive initiatives to improve candidate sourcing, selection, and onboarding processes.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment metrics, activities, and outcomes to senior leadership.

     

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and provide effective recruitment support.
  • Partner with HR and other departments to align recruitment efforts with broader organizational initiatives.

     

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):

  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process.
  • Implement strategies to attract and hire a diverse workforce.
  • Collaborate with internal DEI teams to align recruitment practices with company values.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
