Staffstream is hiring an Associate Consultant for an established Australian recruitment consultancy's growing Civil Construction desk in South-East Queensland. This is a genuine recruitment role, not general admin: you'd be sourcing, phone-screening, registering, and matching blue-collar civil construction candidates (plant operators, pipelayers, concreters, civil labourers, and similar trades) to live vacancies, then booking them in for video interviews with the Director.

This role runs to a clear daily structure and real activity targets. Connected calls, registration packs sent, and completed registrations are tracked every single day, so it suits someone genuinely comfortable in a fast-paced, next-day-fill recruitment environment, not someone looking for a slower, more administrative pace. This role is open to candidates based in the Philippines.

What you will actually do

Candidate sourcing and recruitment

• Source candidates through JobAdder, SEEK, LinkedIn, and other job boards and candidate databases, as well as job advertisements.
  


• Complete outbound candidate calls and screen candidates against live vacancies.
  


• Clearly explain job requirements, location, pay rates, hours, and employment conditions to candidates.
  


• Send and follow up candidate registration packs, and progress candidates through to completed registration.
  


• Match suitable candidates to live jobs, adding strong candidates to live job shortlists or the Hot Candidates shortlist.
  


• Manage and book candidate video interviews with the Director.
  


• Progress suitable candidates toward confirmed site starts.
  


• Complete first-day and ongoing candidate care calls, and maintain active candidate pools for priority roles.
