Audit Head Bank (Monetary Board)

The Audit Head at Octal Philippines Inc. will oversee the internal audit function for the bank, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the effectiveness of internal controls. This position involves developing and executing comprehensive audit plans to identify risks and recommend improvements. The Audit Head will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in internal auditing within the banking sector.
• Strong understanding of the Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB) and other relevant banking regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in risk management, auditing practices, and financial reporting.
• Proven leadership ability and experience in managing audit teams and projects effectively.
• BSP / BSFI Certification is required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail is critical.
• Proficient with audit software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• MUST HAVE EXPRIENCE IN monetary board
