Audit Manager

The role will be part of JGSHI Corporate Internal Audit’s (CIA) Center of Excellence (COE) with primary function as a subject matter expert (SME) servicing JGSOC audit requirements. This includes planning and executing audit as well as consulting engagements for core JGSOC processes like manufacturing, distribution, maintenance, and other related areas. The position will also be responsible for building skills to eventually support other cross function audits, lead projects, and contribute to the overall professionalization journey of the organization.

Specifically, the candidate will:

• Lead the planning, alignment, execution and reporting of audit activities in accordance with the approved annual audit plan
• Support the development of risk-based annual audit plan
• Manage multiple audit initiatives / projects led by JGSHI CIA, i.e. GRC, Continuous Auditing, CSA, QAIP, Certification, etc.
• Build skills to perform audits requiring multi-disciplinary skills, i.e. Financial, Operations, Compliance, Fraud, IT, Corporate Purchasing, 3rd Party, Forensic Accounting, Data Analytics, etc.
• Support audit capability building, process development and quality improvement

Job Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s or College Degree in either Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• Must be licensed in his or her area of specialization
• Certifications in ISO, LEAN, and Six Sigma would be an advantage
• Experience / involvement with internal and/or external plant audits, a plus. (E.g., compliance, supplier, customer, QA, Halal, etc.)
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in industries related to petrochemical and/or power plant operations
• Working knowledge in systems such as SAP and Sharepoint is preferred
• Has interest in and appreciation of internal controls and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
• Strong Project Management experience or background
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Results driven and detail-oriented
• A team player with strong interpersonal relation skills
• Willing to do field work and/or be based in Simlong, Batangas City
