What you’ll be doing:
Methodology
• Drafting responses to methodology queries (these are peer reviewed).
• Assisting with technical consultations (shadowing more senior team members).
• Drafting alerts relating to new or updated methodology guidance.
• Developing or enhancing existing templates, for example, maintaining existing suite of Respond to Risk templates.
• Maintaining existing suite of Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) and Practical User Guides (PUGs).
• Drafting practice aids, as needed (these are peer reviewed).
• Localising practice aids issued by GTIL.
• Assisting with the EQR appointment process (all forms are peer reviewed).
• Supporting engagement teams with methodology aspects of gtap JETT.
Leap tool
• Responding to tool related queries (these are peer reviewed).
• Drafting alerts related to the tool (e.g. updated methodologies, maintenance releases or outages)
• Maintaining existing suite of Quick Start Cards (QSCs)
• Maintaining existing Leap tool FAQs
• Completing test sheets for updates within Leap.
• Logging tool enhancements with GTIL.
• Drafting ‘Leap tool tips’ – short communications issued to the audit practice on tool related functionality.
• Participating in Leap User Acceptance Testing (UAT) ran by GTIL for new versions of the tool.
• Drafting slides for our Leap Business Unit Support Leaders (BUSLs) on a fortnightly basis (these are peer reviewed) to draw attention to recent tool developments or resources issued by the Methodology team.
• Assisting with data requests from regulators.
About you:
• Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years of audit experience.
• Interest in auditing standards and quality.
• Interest in learning more about the Leap engagement tool and other tools used by the audit practice, including gtap JETT.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player.
