POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Audio Visual Technician serves as the primary IT support contact, guiding internal users on effective technology use and providing assistance through in-person support, chat, email, and video calls.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- First line service support and coordinating with end user to set-up and operate the operations of Audio -Visual Systems
- System, Sounds System and Integrated Control Systems
- To ensure that the system is performing in accordance with company's requirements
- Ensure that A/V Equipment in all Critical Rooms is ready for use on daily basis
- Ensure all Rooms' Equipped with A/V Equipment are ready for use
- Attend to all Meeting Room A/V issues, fix, checks and respond to users' request for assistance
- Set up A/V equipment in accordance with requirements for meetings and events (upon request)
- Provide support for important meetings, online meetings, video conferences and teleconferences
- Provide suggestion and best practices to users to have optimum usage on the A/V System
- Provide Level 1 and 2 support for diagnostic and trouble-shoot Audio Visual fault
- Ensure all incidents are logged into incident management system (Such system to be provided by Client)
- Maintain and keep A/V equipment inventory
- Provide daily report/weekly report and incident report related to AV issues
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- 2+ years of experience as an AV Support role
- Be empathetic, humble, and possess a strong focus on customer service
- Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS platforms
- Ability to work individually and within a team
- Strong organizational and managerial skills and detail-oriented work ethic
- Flexibility to work outside of standard work hours to accommodate special projects
