Backend Developer (PHP) Intern is responsible for writing and updating server-side web application logic. He/She will assist in the development and maintenance of web applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of back-end systems for feature-rich SPA web applications
• Write reusable, efficient, and testable PHP code
• Provide regular feedback to other team members for better collaboration

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Within 12 months of completing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Internship Hours:
  • Can commit to a minimum of 480 hours up to a maximum of 960 hours of internship.
• Technical Skills:
  • Must have a good working knowledge of object-oriented programming.
  • Knowledge of PHP and Laravel is a plus.
  • Knowledge in REST API development is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL is a plus.
  • Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git, is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, is a plus.
• Attributes:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
• Work Location:
  • Willingness to render internship in an office-based setup located in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
• Internship allowance available.
• Priority for Academic Requirement:
• Internships fulfilling academic requirements are prioritized.
• Students must have the necessary internship requirements ready.
