Location: Eastwood, Quezon City (office-based)
Employment type: Full-time, permanent

Role Summary

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for LoansOne. This role ensures the integrity of financial data, supports financial reporting, and assists with day-to-day accounting operations. The Bookkeeper plays a key role in tracking transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Recordkeeping

  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and reconciliations in a timely manner
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in bank account management

Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and balance sheet items
  • Prepare periodic financial reports to support management decision-making
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain supporting documentation for all transactions
  • Assist with audits and respond to auditor queries

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with the finance team to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
  • Provide accurate financial data to other departments as required
  • Support process improvements and automation initiatives in finance

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Tally) and MS Excel
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
