Our client is a Perth-based group of companies focused on helping clients build long-term wealth through property investment, property management, and finance. Operating across multiple entities including a national buyers agency, a growing property management arm, and a finance division, they’re a values-driven, growth-focused business with ambitions to scale.
They are now seeking a reliable, experienced full-time financial professional who can confidently manage both day-to-day bookkeeping and tax accounting duties across the group. This is a key role with direct impact on operational efficiency and financial accuracy - perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can operate with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will grow into a trusted internal finance partner, supporting reporting, budgeting, and intercompany compliance.
3+ years’ experience in bookkeeping and Australian tax accounting, ideally with chartership
Strong proficiency in Xero, including automation rules and daily reconciliation workflows
Experience handling inter-company transactions across multiple entities
Confident in preparing and coding for BAS, IAS, and general tax compliance
Ability to independently manage:
Reconciliations
Invoice management
Payroll (future responsibility)
Loading bills for payment (with Director authorisation)
Strong investigative mindset - able to identify and resolve discrepancies without supervision
Excellent written communication - must be able to clearly explain financial issues and document actions via email
Highly organised, proactive, and accountable - able to act as a long-term internal finance partner
Preferred Experience
Background in working with Australian clients or companies, particularly in real estate or financial services
Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and CFO-style reporting
Experience in remote roles where independence and ownership were essential
Understanding of Australian property, leasing, or investment industry (a bonus, not essential)
Full-time role with long-term stability - play a key role in a growing business
Opportunity to grow into a strategic finance partner, supporting reporting, planning, and decision-making
Flexible working hours - with minimum 3 hours overlap in Perth business hours
Supportive founder-led environment - work directly with the Director of a high-integrity, growth-driven business
Consistent monthly income in AUD with clear deliverables and expectations
Autonomy and trust - you’ll manage your own tasks, reporting directly to the founder without micromanagement
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and independent financial professional who’s ready to take ownership of a dynamic, multi-entity finance function. If you're technically strong, detail-focused, and ready to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.
