BOQ Lead - Alabang

JOB SUMMARY

Quantification/ Measurement of Civil, Structural and Architectural Works necessary for the preparation of Cost Plan at the different stages of Drawing Development, i.e. Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, Contract Documentation, etc. Measurement and/or production of BOQ quantities in the various stages of the design development, i.e. Schematic Design, Contract Documentation, Bid Drawings or For Construction Drawings.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out measurement for Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) Works.

Measurement and Preparation of BOQ

• Coordinates with Cost Planning Lead and Cost Planning Manager for the daily tasks and activities;
• Carry out measurement for civil, structural and architectural works using SPI standard measurement software or app and in accordance with SPI standard format.

Costing and Pricing

• Coordinates within the group for pricing the Bills of Quantities as may be deemed;
• Request for quotation or canvass prices outside if no available prices or updated prices within the group or the database.

Internal and External Coordination

• Coordinates with PCM and CAD Project Leads for all information as may deemed necessary to complete the Quantification for the Bills of Quantities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Civil Engineering graduate.
• Board passer an advantage, but not a must.
• 1 year work experience related to Quantity Surveying or Cost Estimation an advantage, but not a must.
