Job Description - Branch Recruitment Officer

Position Type: Individual Contributor


Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent


Work Setup: On-site, M-F 8am-5pm


Location: Lipa, Makati, UN Avenue (Manila), Sta. Rosa, Cagayan de Oro City

About the Job:


As a Branch Recruitment Officer, you will oversee the efficient operation of agent recruitment and activation within the branch office, playing a crucial role in managing daily activities related to building a strong agency force, ensuring agent satisfaction and productivity, and meeting business objectives through successful agent acquisition.

Scope & Responsibilities:




Branch Recruitment Operations Management:



  • Supervise and manage all branch activities related to agent recruitment and activation to ensure smooth operations.

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for agent recruitment and onboarding.

  • Monitor and evaluate branch performance against established agent recruitment targets and take corrective actions when necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to agent recruitment.


Team Leadership:



  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Recruitment Officers (if applicable).

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to recruitment team members.

  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and employee growth within the recruitment function.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and goal setting for recruitment team members.


Agent Relationship Management & Activation:



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with newly recruited and existing agents.

  • Oversee the agent onboarding and activation process, ensuring agents are equipped for success.

  • Address agent inquiries, complaints, and concerns related to recruitment and onboarding in a timely and effective manner.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative relationship with agents, promoting loyalty and engagement.


Agent Sourcing and Business Development (for Recruitment):



  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve branch agent recruitment targets and growth goals.

  • Lead the identification of market trends, potential agent pools, and competitive intelligence for recruitment.

  • Work closely with the sales team to understand agent needs and align recruitment efforts with business objectives.

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with key referral sources and stakeholders for agent recruitment.


Performance Monitoring & Reporting (for Recruitment):



  • Monitor and analyze agent recruitment and activation metrics, providing regular reports to branch leadership.

  • Track the performance of recruited agents in their initial period and identify areas for improvement in the recruitment process.


Compliance & Documentation:



  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of agent information, including applications, contracts, and onboarding documents.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies governing agent recruitment and activation.




Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of background or experience in recruitment, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the insurance, real estate, or financial services industry.

  • At least 3 years of experience in people management or leadership role, specifically in recruitment or agency development.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to agent recruitment and employment.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential and existing agents.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in managing recruitment teams or leading agency development initiatives is a huge advantage.

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of agent recruitment and onboarding processes.
