Responsibilities
- Define and lead the overall branding and communications strategy for Coins.ph, ensuring a unified and compelling voice across all touchpoints
- Oversee brand messaging and visual identity across platforms, ensuring consistency in tone, look, and feel
- Manage content strategy, social media operations, and community engagement to drive awareness, trust, and user growth
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership, advising on positioning, media approach, and high-impact communications moments
- Lead all PR efforts: from building media relationships and securing earned media, to managing agency partners and crisis comms as needed
- Drive thought leadership initiatives by identifying speaking opportunities, content platforms, and executive visibility tactics
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Legal, Partnerships, CX, HR) to align messaging and proactively uncover storytelling opportunities
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content: press releases, media kits, op-eds, blog posts, brand guidelines, and more
- Track media coverage, analyze brand sentiment, and report on key communications KPIs and campaign impact
- Mentor junior team members or contractors and manage external partners to ensure quality and consistency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory issues impacting brand and communication strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in brand management, strategic communications, or public relations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at both strategy and execution
- Proven success in building or transforming a brand in a fast-paced, digital-first environment
- Deep understanding of the media landscape and experience managing press relationships
- Track record of leading integrated communications strategies across digital, media, and owned channels
- Strong editorial instincts, project management skills, and stakeholder management experience
- Comfortable navigating a regulated, dynamic industry like fintech or crypto (experience in crypto is a plus)
