Job Description - Business Development Manager

JOB DESCEIPTION

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager is responsible for securing new revenue within Toby’s Estate Coffee Roasters existing portfolio of clients as well as seeking out new clients. The role is expected to have a focus on hunting and keeping new business. The role ensures an excellent client experience at all times and works in collaboration with internal teams to ensure smooth transition of accounts into the business.

Account Management

  • Provide support to new and existing customer base as needed, scheduling training and other activities such as consultations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the customers.
  • Provide support and work with the Kitchen Department, Supply Cain, Head Chef and the Accounting Department to ensure efficient fulfillment of orders.
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Maintain account files including information on trainings, ordering patterns, contact person(s), pricing, etc.
  • Keep current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service by regularly checking up on their satisfaction with our services and conducting quality assurance programs.
  • Monitor compliance with customer contracts.

Sales

  • Create selling programs in all stages from product demonstration and tasting, formulation, training programs and after sales programs such as QA and Refreshers.
  • Create payment programs with Accounting.
  • Create delivery programs.
  • Draft and edit documents such as contracts, provisions for loaner equipment, and training modules.
  • Ensure compliance of sanitation standard for production.
  • Prepare point of sale materials.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for pop-up events and corporate catering.

Others

  • Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATION

  • With at least one year of experience specializing Sales Building and Business Development.
  • 4 years graduate of BS Marketing or any related course
  • Experience working in Food and Beverage and Catering Services Industry is a plus.
  • Preferably with existing client network in BPO and Multinational company.
  • Must posses good communication and coordination skills.
