Responsibilities and Duties
Establish positive, fruitful and lasting relationships with Umpisa clients and partners
Perform prospecting, qualification, proposal writing and negotiations with our select clientele
Conduct account planning and relationship mapping
Keep up-to-date to business, industry and technology trends
Develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income
Lead the charge on market research plans to identify new opportunities
Work with stakeholders to implement sales and marketing strategies and new opportunities
Ensure that the company meets revenue targets
Analyze current and past financial data and provide strategies to increase revenue
Assist in developing and pitching to potential strategic partners or investors
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Trustworthy, self-motivated, responsive and sharp
A problem solver and always thinking how to help the clients, partners and the team to get things moving (win-win-win-win)
Business and technology nerd - always curious about the world of business and technology
Strong listening, verbal, written and presentation communication skills are essential
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills, organization skills, time management skills
Highly collaborative and able to work with clients/partners/team in person and online
Industry knowledge: Banking, Insurance, Fintech, Ecommerce, Education, Real Estate, Recruitment, Energy Sector or Others
1-3 years minimum experience in the corporate world, trade/field sales, business development, project management or product management
Has a solid business background and strategic mindset
Understands the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Thrives in fast-paced environments (startup experience is a plus) or demonstrates leadership through active involvement in school organizations
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business management, accounting, or finance
Currently residing in Metro Manila
Prior leadership experience at work, university or community
