Our client is a leading non-bank financing company for small-to-medium-sized enterprises (“SME”) and the #1 unsecured lender to SMEs in the Philippines.

Their vision is to continue to grow into a full-service financing institution focused on serving all of the financing needs of SMEs in the Philippines and become a provider of additional value-added services to help SMEs in the Philippines grow their business.

Overall Purpose of the role:

Our client is looking for a dynamic and self-driven Business Development Officer to join their Sales team.

The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth. This role requires someone who is highly motivated, has excellent communication skills, and is comfortable finding and nurturing their own leads to achieve business goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek and generate new business leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, referrals, industry events, and online research.
  • Identify potential clients and develop strategies to convert leads into long-term customers.
  • Present and demonstrate our products/services to potential clients, highlighting their value and benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and offering tailored solutions.

Work closely with the sales team, marketing, and other departments to ensure client satisfaction and smooth implementation of services.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the same field or equivalent
  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of generating leads and closing deals.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage your own sales pipeline.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed and meet sales targets.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with clients.
  • Strong networking abilities and a proven ability to generate leads from scratch.
  • Ability to handle rejection and keep a positive attitude while pursuing new opportunities.

Job Type: Permanent

Employment Type: Full Time Employment

Schedule: Monday to Friday PH Time 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
