Business Intelligence QA Analyst

Shift: EMEA

Work Setup: Hybrid

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree and 3+ years in business intelligence/report development
• Beginner to intermediate Power BI proficiency
• 2+ years experience with BI tools like Tableau, Spotfire, PowerPivot, or SSRS
• Experience in QA/testing

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures for BI solutions, including data validation, report testing, and dashboard functionality.
• Identify and Report Defects: Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, working with developers to resolve issues and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify specifications, and ensure that BI solutions meet business needs.
• Ensure Data Quality: Validate data sources, transformations, and reports to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Contribute to Testing Strategy: Participate in the development and implementation of the overall BI testing strategy and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
